Bangladesh's unique rickshaw art started to appear in the 1960s with depictions of popular folklore and movie heroes while in more religiously conservative parts of the country the paintings focused on birds, animals, and floral designs.
Rickshaw (tricycle) Artist Rafiqul Islam is one of the living artists at the moment in Bangladesh. This short documentary film is about him and the Rickshaw (tricycle) art form.
