After ten years of marriage, Dean and Mia Summers are ready to call it quits. With the help of their lawyers, Bobby and Becca Belle, they begin the divorce proceedings. Dean agrees to move in with his dad. Mia hires her friend Janet to sell the house. Everything moves along rather easily until Dean and Mia find out that, unlike family, friends tend to choose sides. They soon find themselves getting uninvited or snubbed all together from events that would typically involve them as a couple. With the Belle's unable to legally divide up their friend base, Dean and Mia settle for the next best thing: a fantasy football-like draft to select the friends they'd like to keep moving forward. An idea that the Belle's believe might save their struggling podcast as opposed to Dean and Mia's marriage.
