​Amid the initial COVID-19 outbreak in March 2020, Leroy, a married man, engages in a passionate but clandestine affair with Kiara, a much younger woman, in a New York City hotel. The story starts with their rendezvous at a Holiday Inn, where they indulge in substances and intimacy, despite Leroy's marital commitment. However, their tryst takes an unexpected turn when they fall asleep for two days due to intoxication.

Upon waking, they realize the gravity of the situation—the world is in a state of emergency due to the rapidly spreading pandemic.​​​
